Embedding Floating Menus

An AI Assistant can embed a BetterTouchTool floating menu inside the chat. This is helpful for repeated workflows that benefit from fixed buttons, toggles, or status widgets.

Choose the menu in the assistant's Appearance tab under Embed Floating Menu In Chat (you can set separate menus for the compact and the expanded view).

Recommended setup for the embedded menu:

  • Set Menu Availability to Only Embedded (e.g. in AI Assistant or Choose From List).
  • Give the menu an explicit size, or use fit-to-content if the layout is simple.
  • Keep controls compact and task-focused.
